Team series

The Masters League is proud to announce for 2021 a Team Series competition. This is designed to allow teams of 4 from all over Australia to compete against each other in multiple divisions. The Masters League 2021 Team Series Event enables Masters athletes to compete against other states throughout Australia. Teams of 4 consist of two Males and two females.

HOW IT WORKS

The Team Series competition starts with a one day event that will be held in June 2021 as a Throwdown within your State.
The Top two Teams on the day from each Division and age group will qualify and compete at the Masters League Games on the 17-19th September in Melbourne Australia for the Masters League Team Cup.

If you are competing in the Warrior 35-44 age group, you cannot have 4 register for the younger 5-year bracket (35-39) but you can have 4 compete in the older 5 year bracket (40-44).
You are only allowed 3 in the younger 5 year bracket (35-39)

Warrior athletes cannot compete in Soldier same as Hero in Warrior.
Athletes within a team need to be from the same state.

Individual Athletes that make it through to the 2021 ML Games are also able to compete in the Team Series.

If you live 3 hrs from the venue of the throwdown you may submit a video.
Submission of Video needs to be done the weekend before the Throwdown.

NOTE: TO JUMPSTART THE TEAM SERIES ATHLETES THAT HAVE NOT REGISTERED FOR THE 2021 ML OPEN MAY PARTICIPATE.

HOWEVER, FOR THE 2022 TEAM SERIES ALL ATHLETES MUST ALSO HAVE REGISTERED FOR THE 2022 ML OPEN TO QUALIFY IN A TEAM.
