How It Works

During the 8th-29th November  2019, 4 open workouts will be released, you will be given 1 week to complete each of these workouts (so 4 weeks in total) at your own affiliate, Gym or Training Facility, movement standards will be provided and you will need your workout judged and verified by a CrossFit Coach, Certified CrossFit judge or a Certificate Level III or IV Trainer.

You can perform each workout as many times as you like during the allocated 1 week and when you submit your verified score you will be able to track yourself on the leader board alongside all of the other athletes in your division and across your country and also nationally.

Master League Athletes are now in age Categories, starting from: 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70+

AGE ELIGIBILITY: If you are 34 turning 35 before May 31st 2020 you are eligible for the 35-39 Age Category. This concept is also for those deciding what age category to choose. Eg. If you are 44 turning 45 before May 31st 2020, the Age Category you would select will be 45-49

DIVISIONS: When you register you are required to enter as a Soldier (Beginner), Warrior (Intermediate) or Hero (Advanced) depending on your ability. See divisions page.

LEADERBOARD: Each individual athlete will be able to track their ranking on our live Masters League Open leaderboard.

MASTERS LEAGUE GAMES 2020 UPDATE

In recent days, Melbourne has seen a spike in positive cases of Covid-19, which has warranted a complete lockdown of metropolitan Melbourne for 6 weeks starting from the 9th of July.

In spite of this, we are continuing with the planning process.
As the competition date is around seven months away, we remain confident of the ability to proceed as planned. However, Masters League will continue to work with the advice given by the authorities and pivot accordingly to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our athletes and volunteers.
Masters League will allow up to end of September to make the final call, whether to cancel or not.
To that end, we have secured two venues close by in the Frankston/Mornington suburbs, one of the venue being CrossFit Frankston, owned by one of Australia’s leading CrossFit athlete Rob Forte, having 2 venues enables the parallel running of events should we be restricted by rules around mass gatherings or social distancing.
To facilitate decision making and planning for our participants, we are sharing further information for the Games:
We will share the wods via email/social media, during the week of the competition with the movement standards, to eliminate WOD briefings, which in many cases can be time consuming.
However, we will answer any questions regarding the flow & other concerns of the wods.
